Android Screen Lock

Overview

For better security, you can set a screen lock that requires a PIN/password to be entered each time you turn on or wake up your device.

Set a screen lock

1. From your device Settings, tap Lock screen.
   
2. Tap Screen lock.
   
3. Tap PIN or Password.
   
4. Enter PIN or password.
5. Tap Lock automatically to ensure your device will automatically lock once the screen turns off.
