Overview
The Manager Search Options page allows electronic timekeepers and approvers to customize the search criteria and results options for the Time Entry Pages.
Specifically, it controls the Employee Selection Criteria and search results fields for these pages:
- Timesheets
- Manage Exceptions
- Payable Time Summary
- Payable Time Detail
Details are provided on how your Manager Search Options selections can customize the search criteria and results specifically for your needs. It is important to follow the guidelines in this document to properly establish search criteria and results. It is also helpful to use this document to troubleshoot undesirable search criteria and results.
Manager Search Option Page
Use this page to customize the search pages for the Time Entry pages. If you want to change your settings later, return to this page to update them.
- In the Employee Selection Criteria section, select which fields you want as search options, as well as the employee information fields you want displayed in the search results.
- Care should be used with the settings that control whether the search pages prompt you to enter search criteria and whether the criteria fields are displayed/expanded.
- Once the options on this page are saved, click Get Employees to populate results.

Letter | Field/Button | Description |

A | Description | These are the available fields that can be added or removed from the search pages’ Employee Selection Criteria sections and search results grids. More fields may display initially. |
B | Selection Criterion Value | If applicable, enter a department/employee-specific value that you want to default on the Filter pages. For example, Time Reporter Group equals static or dynamic group. |
C | Include in Criteria | Select the checkboxes of the search criteria you want on the Filter pages. At least one of the following key fields is required to perform a search: Group ID, EmplID, or Supervisor ID. If necessary, deselect fields that are not used. More fields than shown in the example above may be available. |
D | Include in List | Select the employee information you want to display in the search results. |
