NSF Survey Page - Report Prompts
Term, Academic Program, and DeptID must be entered for the report to run.
Letter | Field/Button | Description |
---|---|---|
A | Term | In addition to being run for a specific term, the UM NSF Survey report returns data based on an effective date in M-Pathways that indicates when 60% of the Rackham term is completed. The report should be run on or after that date in early November to ensure it includes up-to-date data. Note: The report could be run before that date for the Fall term, but it may be inaccurate because the M-Pathways data could change prior to the actual date of 60% completion for the term. |
B | Include Part-Time Students | This checkbox is optional for departments wanting to internally report on the “Sources and Mechanisms” data for part-time students. Note: NSF requires only full-time students be reported in the "Sources and Mechanisms" portion of the survey. |
C | Academic Program | The report selects graduate students based on their Academic Progrmas. Click Add Row to enter more than one code. If necessary, click Lookup to search for valid values by Department name or Program name. It may be useful to perform a wildcard search by preceding the name with the "%" character. For example, enter %Math in the Program Name field to find all names that include "Math" (e.g., Applied & Interdiscip Math Doc, Mathematics Mas). |
D | DeptID | The report selects Postdoctorals and Non-Faculty Researchers based on their Appointing Department. Click Add Row to enter more than one code. Note: If a Postdoctoral is appointed by his/her department, choose the specific DeptID of the appointing department. The highest DeptID will not capture Postdoctorals in the report results when they have more specific appointing DeptIDs. |
After completing the prompts and clicking Run, the Process Scheduler Request page displays.
